Blog 26: Senior Project Reflection

Title: Senior Project Reflection
Label: Presentation
Directions: Please answer the following questions and turn it in to the blog.
Due Date: The day after your two-hour presentation by 8:00 A.M.

(1) Positive Statement

What are you most proud of in your 2-Hour Presentation and/or your senior project? Why?
I am most proud of being able to explain every detail about an R/C car. All of my research was present in my presentation. I thought I did well for making so many changes to my powerpoint in just a few days.

(2) Questions to Consider

a.     What assessment would you give yourself on your 2-Hour Presentation (self-assessment)?

AE       P          AP       CR       NC

b.     What assessment would you give yourself on your overall senior project (self-assessment)?

AE       P          AP       CR       NC

(3) What worked for you in your senior project?
I was able to make time and present over all of the information that I thought was necessary. I was glad overall and felt that I did a good job on giving a brief overview of the sport side of the hobby. I  also provided information about how everything works. That would have been hard to explain at the beginning of the year without doing any research.
(4) (What didn't work) If you had a time machine, what would have you done differently to improve your senior project if you could go back in time?
I would add as many slides as I possibly could (the first time) in order to ensure that I would meet the time requirements. Then rehearsed the presentation to make sure that all of the information being presented flows together smoothly. After that I would sell the newly found time machine...Hello early retirement!

(5) Finding Value

How has the senior project been helpful to you in your future endeavors?   Be specific and use examples.
If I really wanted to I can apply for a job in the industry of radio controlled racing. I can use my senior project as experience on my resume. Also I made a lot of friends during these nine months. This made me a more social person. If it weren't for the senior project, I wouldn't have gone out and made friends outside of school. I also  wouldn't  have a part-time job that helps fund my hobbies.
